About Us

We are here to change the vision of indoor cycling! You’ve seen the videos of large classes, blasting music, rave lighting and athletic people bouncing up and down on the most minimal bikes. That’s not us, sorry, not sorry. I’d be scared to go to that class!

Indoor cycling is one of the best ways to improve cardio while minimizing impact on your body. It does not need to be or should not be an aggressive activity every time you ride. We will provide a variety of options and educate you on the elements of building endurance and strength through cycling.

All our group rides are guided with us providing the enthusiasm and music to motivate. We approach cycling with each ride designed to provide resistance based movements to improve your endurance and strength. No two rides are the same!!!

Keep in mind, each of us are on our own fitness journey and you will be reminded throughout to adjust your effort to meet your own goals.

As the days get shorter and darker, we all will need to move inside for maintaining our fitness and maybe going for new health goals.
This shorter ride will get you a complete workout from warm-up stretches to cool down all within 45 minutes to let you get back to your day/evening.

The 60 minute ride can be saddle time between 45-55 minutes.

Beginning in November, I will be offering one-on-one rides outside of the group times. I realize and have been in your shoes starting something new and walking into an unknown is scary.

These sessions will be designed specifically with you in mind, whether you are at the start of your fitness journey or want the peace and quiet of your own bike ride, I’ll even let your decide the music. I want to provide a place and environment to allow everyone to feel comfortable and except at their own pace. It will be a block of one hour but the ride time will be decided by you and your needs. Cost will be $10, resident or non-resident.

Meet Your Instructors

Dee

My fitness journey started with running way back after watching my older brother complete multiple marathons.  I thought, “If he can do it, so could I.”  Many races later and ready to start a new challenge, I signed up for Ironman Coeur D’Alene, 2006.  As they say, the rest is history.

Learning something new and taking a risk at attending swim classes and indoor cycling classes for training, I was hooked.  A mentor and excellent instructor talked me into taking Spin Instructor Training and that began my time with Astoria Parks and Recreation in 2012.  Up until 2020 when the pandemic shut us down, I led many classes, meeting so many amazing people along the way.

It has only recently came to my attention that we do not have a dedicated indoor cycling class in our area.  I feel this type of fitness would be an enhancement to all.  We have many wonderful gyms and access to the Parks and Recreation departments locally.  I took a chance to purchase the quality equipment and found the perfect space to have a comfortable environment for you to enjoy and grow your fitness at a reasonable cost.

I never tire of energizing people through fitness and to provide a fun yet effective physical class for all stages of your athleticism.  I would love to be your guide, mentor, supporter and cheerleader along your path.
